Resume
The short version​​

I am currently a masters student at Western University in London, Ontario. I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2020, with a HBSc in Evolutionary Anthropology and Music. I have worked as a research assistant preparing 3D models from CT scans and have worked for the United States Forest Service as an archeological technician. I have also been a teaching assistant for a variety of anthropology courses. My research interests are largely in the realm of working to better human variation as it is related to activity and energy expenditure.

Archeological Technician

  • Conducted cultural resource surveys of areas designated for ground disrupting activities including timber sale harvests, trail development, and road building.

  • Researched archival information such as National register files, historical documents, archeological reports, and maps to assist in report creation and documentation.

Virtual Paleoanthropology Assistant

  • Processed and helped analyzing CT and μCT data of fossil hominins.

  • Focused on 3D segmentation and landmarking the bony labyrinth, tarsals, and metatarsals from micro-CT and medical CT scans.

  • Assisted in excavating a monumental Late Roman synagogue, including mosaics. Learned excavation techniques and applied archaeological theory.

  • Learned current practices in information recording, ceramic analysis, conservation, soil flotation.

US Forest Service Passport in Time Intern​

  • Worked with US Forest Service Park Rangers to maintain zooarchaeological site. Gave guests tours of the site as well as information about ongoing research.

  • Examined fossilized remains alongside published research to develop new interpretive materials.
