Master's Thesis
My MA research involves researching the impact of habitual activity on developmental plasticity in long-distance swimmers and runners by using both living athletes and archeological populations. I intend to integrate the 3D body composition data obtained from living athletes and the surface scans from the archeological record to interrogate whether limb segment proportions in modern athletes compare to what is observed in the archeological record by testing linear regression models created
by using different body composition variables recorded in the upper and lower limb.
